Day 1
Day 1 – Nairobi, Your Kenyan Journey Begins
Welcome to Kenya. After landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet your representative and transfer to your hotel in Nairobi. Your first night is intentionally relaxed, allowing you to settle in after your flight and enjoy a comfortable evening before heading into the Great Rift Valley the following morning.

Day 2
Day 2 – Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, meet your safari guide and leave Nairobi behind as you make your way towards Lake Nakuru, a journey of approximately 3.5 hours by road. Travel into the spectacular Great Rift Valley, enjoying the changing scenery as you continue towards Lake Nakuru National Park.
On arrival, enter the park and begin exploring with your guide. Lake Nakuru is known for its beautiful lake setting, woodland and grassland habitats and offers the opportunity to encounter a variety of wildlife, including rhino, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, antelope and numerous bird species.
Enjoy lunch during the day before continuing your game viewing in the afternoon. Later,

Day 3
Day 3 – Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
Enjoy breakfast before departing Lake Nakuru and travelling towards Lake Naivasha, approximately 1.5 hours away by road. On arrival at Lake Naivasha, enjoy a boat cruise on the lake, offering a different perspective of Kenya’s wildlife and scenery.
Cruise across the freshwater lake while looking out for hippos and the abundant birdlife found around its shores.
Continue by boat to Crescent Island, where you will disembark and explore the island on foot. This provides a wonderful opportunity to experience the landscape at a slower pace and walk amongst some of the plains game found on the island.
After your excursion, return by boat and continue to your accommodation for check-in. Spend the remainder of the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings of Lake Naivasha.

Day 4
Day 4 – Lake Naivasha to the Masai Mara
After breakfast, check out and begin the journey towards the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve, approximately 4 hours away by road. As you travel towards the Mara, the scenery changes from the landscapes of the Great Rift Valley to the expansive grasslands of southwestern Kenya.
Once you enter the Masai Mara, your game viewing begins immediately.
A packed lunch will be provided, allowing you to make the most of your first day in the reserve rather than travelling directly to your accommodation. Explore the plains with your guide and enjoy your packed lunch at a suitable location in the reserve. Your first afternoon in the Mara provides opportunities to search for elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest and the predators for which this region is particularly well known.
Later in the afternoon, continue to your lodge or camp for check-in, followed by dinner and your first evening in the Masai Mara.

Day 5
Day 5 – A Full Day in the Masai Mara
Today is dedicated to exploring the wildlife-rich landscapes of the Masai Mara National Reserve. You may choose to start with an early morning game drive, returning to your lodge or camp for breakfast.
Enjoy some time at leisure before lunch at the lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive as the temperature begins to cool. Alternatively, depart with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive, allowing you to venture further across the reserve and spend more uninterrupted time searching for wildlife. The Mara’s open plains, river systems and scattered acacia trees provide a classic East African safari setting and support an exceptional variety of wildlife, including lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, buffalo and numerous plains game species.
Return to your lodge or camp later in the day for dinner.

Day 6
Day 6 – Another day in the Masai Mara
With another full day available, there is no need to rush your safari experience. Your guide can explore different areas of the Masai Mara, taking into account wildlife movements and recent sightings. Choose between morning and afternoon game drives, with breakfast and lunch enjoyed at your lodge or camp, or spend the full day on safari with a packed lunch.
Having an additional day in the Mara provides more opportunities to observe wildlife behaviour, spend longer at interesting sightings and explore areas you may not have reached the previous day.
As the afternoon comes to an end, return to your lodge or camp and enjoy your final evening in the Masai Mara.

Day 7
Day 7 – Masai Mara to Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge or camp before checking out and beginning your return journey to Nairobi, approximately 6 hours away by road, depending on traffic and road conditions. Watch the landscapes change once more as you leave the Mara behind and travel back towards
Kenya’s capital. On arrival in Nairobi, continue to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight, bringing your journey through the Great Rift Valley and Masai Mara to an end.
