Day 1
Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi
Welcome to Kenya! On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a representative will be waiting to meet you and assist with your transfer into Nairobi. Check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day unwinding after your journey.
This first evening offers a relaxed start before heading north into Kenya’s wildlife regions the following morning.

Day 2
Day 2 – Nairobi to Lewa
After breakfast, meet your private safari guide and set off north towards Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. The journey takes approximately 4–5 hours by road, travelling through Kenya’s central highlands and increasingly scenic countryside. On arrival at Lewa, enter theconservancy and enjoy your first introduction to this remarkable wildlife area as you make your way towards your lodge or camp.
After checking in and enjoying lunch, spend some time settling into your surroundings before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Lewa is
particularly renowned for its conservation success and provides excellent opportunities to see both black and white rhino, as well as elephant, lion, buffalo, giraffe and a variety of plains game.Return to your lodge or camp for dinner.

Day 3
Day 3 - Exploring Lewa
Wake up surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy and head out for an early morning game drive. Return to your lodge or camp for breakfast and enjoy some time at leisure before lunch. Later in the afternoon, meet your guide for another game drive and
continue exploring the conservancy’s open grasslands, valleys and wooded areas.Return to your accommodation later in the afternoon for dinner and another peaceful evening in the conservancy.

Day 4 - Exploring Lewa

Day 5
Day 5 – Lewa to Samburu
After breakfast, check out and continue north towards the striking landscapes of Samburu, approximately 4 hours away by road. The scenery gradually becomes more arid and dramatic as you approach Samburu, offering a noticeable contrast to the rolling grasslands of Lewa.
On arrival, enter the reserve and continue to your lodge or camp. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy lunch and some time to relax before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Samburu is known for its rugged scenery and distinctive northern Kenyan wildlife.
Alongside elephant, lion and leopard, look out for Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich.
Return to your accommodation as the sun sets over the reserve.

Day 6
Day 6 – Discover Samburu
Set out early this morning to experience Samburu as the reserve begins to stir. The cooler morning hours are ideal for game viewing, with wildlife often gathering around the Ewaso Nyiro River and surrounding areas. Return to your lodge or camp for breakfast and spend the middle of the day relaxing before lunch. Later, venture back into the reserve for an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, depart with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive, giving you additional time to explore the reserve and follow the day’s wildlife sightings.
Return to your lodge or camp for your final dinner in Samburu.

Day 7
Day 7 – Fly from Samburu to the Masai Mara
After breakfast, transfer to the nearby airstrip for your morning flight from Samburu to the Masai Mara. Flying between the two regions offers a wonderful change of perspective as you travel from the dry northern landscapes of Samburu towards the vast grasslands of the Mara.
On arrival at the Masai Mara airstrip, you will be met by your safari guide and your game viewing begins from the moment you leave the airstrip as you make your way through the reserve.
Continue to your lodge or camp for check-in and lunch. After some time to settle in, head back onto the plains for an afternoon game drive. Return to your accommodation for dinner and your first evening in the Masai Mara.

Day 8
Day 8 – Safari in the Masai Mara
Today is dedicated to exploring the remarkable wildlife and landscapes of the Masai Mara National Reserve. Begin with an early morning game drive, returning to your lodge or camp for breakfast. Spend some time relaxing before lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive when temperatures begin to cool and wildlife becomes more active.
Alternatively, take a packed lunch and enjoy a full-day game drive, allowing you to explore more distant areas of the reserve without returning to camp during the day. The Mara offers exceptional opportunities to encounter lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, giraffe and large herds of plains game
across its open savannahs. -
Day 9
Day 9 – A final full day in the Masai Mara
Enjoy another full day surrounded by the sweeping plains of the Masai Mara. Choose between morning and afternoon game drives with lunch at your lodge or camp, or spend the full day exploring with a packed lunch. Your guide can select the day’s route according to wildlife movements and recent sightings, giving you the opportunity to visit different areas and spend more time observing the animals you encounter.
As your final full safari day draws to a close, return to your lodge or camp and enjoy one last evening in the African bush.

Day 10
Day 10 – Masai Mara to Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast before transferring to the airstrip for your morning flight from the Masai Mara to Nairobi. Your flight arrives at Wilson Airport, where you will be met by a representative for your road transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Continue to the international airport in time
for your onward flight, bringing your journey through Lewa, Samburu and the Masai Mara to an end.
